This short yet immersive journey captures the spirit of Bavaria at its most festive. Based in Munich, you explore the historic old town with its iconic landmarks such as Marienplatz and the Frauenkirche, alongside grand sites like Nymphenburg Palace and the Olympic Park. At the heart of the experience is the world-famous Oktoberfest, where lively beer tents, traditional music and colorful parades create a unique cultural atmosphere. You witness one of the great festive traditions of Germany, deeply rooted in Bavarian heritage. A scenic excursion leads to Neuschwanstein Castle, set amid forests and lakes, offering a glimpse into the romantic vision of King Ludwig II. Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Munich airport you meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in for 4 overnights.

DAY 2: Munich

In the morning you explore the city on a sightseeing tour by bus and on foot through the historic old city with its famous buildings and squares including the Marienplatz with the town hall and its "Glockenspiel" and the "Frauenkirche" (Church of our Lady) with its distinctive onion-topped towers. Visit to the Olympic Park and Nymphenburg Palace (view from outside), baroque residence of the Bavarian kings. In the afternoon you visit the infamous Oktoberfest, a 16-day festival. To the locals, it is not called Oktoberfest, but "die Wiesn", after the colloquial name of the fairgrounds themselves. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. A big attraction for many visitors is the parade of the breweries and beer tent proprietors through the streets of Munich on their way to the Oktoberfest.

DAY 3: The Oktoberfest

This Sunday morning the second parade during the Oktoberfest with brass bands, traditional costumes and horse carriages is worthwhile to join. In the afternoon, time at leisure to explore the Oktoberfest on your own.

DAY 4: Neuschwanstein Castle

After breakfast you board the coach and enjoy an enchanting drive through Bavaria’s forests and lakelands to one of Mad King Ludwig’s fantasy castles and surely the crown jewel of Bavaria Castles: the elaborate Neuschwanstein Castle. You tour the castle. Afterwards you continue your journey through Bavaria’s stunning countryside and return to Munich. Take another chance to enjoy the Oktoberfest on your own in the evening.

DAY 5: Departure

Following breakfast you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
